It's February and we're officially 'out of recession'. Good news... you'd think. Yet all the news bulletins I hear are full of doom & gloom and stroies of closures and job losses. Soon the media circus will roll into 'election' mode and once again find stories, nicknames and cynical bylines that further diminish our respect for our political leaders. Some commentators believe this election will produce the lowest electoral turnout in history. I hope they're wrong. Never have we faced such a complex time, nor a time when we all needed to celebrate our democracy and take part in shaping our nation. It does set one to thinking though.... imagine if we were all voted in and out of office by our colleagues? An interesting thought.
Would you get in?
